25 - Man Organization *RAIDERS LOOK HERE*

Hello folks, after much discussion the management has agreed that we are in need of more structure for our 25-man raids.  In order to consistently take down encounters and accurately measure our progress, we have decided to implement a roster and the use of a new tool called WoW Web Stats (www.wowwebstats.com).  

Currently PIF occupies 18 raid spots while AG occupies 7.  PIF will be contributing 3 tanks, 5 healers, and 10 dps raiders while AG will be provindg 1 tank, 1 healer, and 5 dps raiders.  Our 18 spots are broken up into 2 types: 14 Regular and 4 Rotational.  Someone who is specified as a Regular is expected to maintain good attendance and be ready to go for each raid while someone who is specified as a Rotational will be rotated in/out each week with other Rotationals.

In order to continue to progress through the 25-man content, it is important that we maintain the effectiveness of the raid (i.e. TPS, DPS, Healing Done, etc.).  Unfortunately, it is very difficult to gauge whether or not our group of 25 people has what it takes to defeat a particular encounter without some type of consistency.  This is the main purpose for the 14 Regular raid spots.  By having the same 14 raiders in the raid each and every week, it will be significantly easier to measure where we need more improvement.  We do understand we are not a hardcore raiding guild so we have assigned 4 Rotational raid spots.  These spots allow those who cannot make it to the raid each and every week a chance to participate and experience the end game content at least once in a while.  Lastly, a updated roster each and every week will help everyone plan their schedules appropriately so there misplaced expectations when invites go out on raid day.

Wiping is okay as long as you can learn from the experience.  It is exceedingly more difficult to identify what was the cause of a wipe in a 25-man raid compared to a 5-man dungeon.  Because of this fact, we will be utilizing a new tool called WoW Web Stats (www.wowwebstats.com).  This tool allows us to reflect on the many various factors of an encounter such as the amount of DPS and Healing performed by each and every raid member.  It also breaks down each raid members abilities and how many times they were used.  This tool well help us determine our strengths and our weaknesses so we may continue to improve ourselves as we move onto new encounters.  Each new encounter will push us to our limits in order to succeed.  Understanding how to increase our performance is key in progressing farther into 25-man raid content.  It is a very simple tool that requires the combat log of only one person in order function.  Multiple combat logs can be uploaded to increase accuracy but only one is needed.

All raiders will be expected to make the proper preparations before the raid (i.e. consumables, repairs, getting geared up in level 70 blues and/or KZ gear).  Learning new encounters will always be a challenge and we need to do everything we can to increase our chances of success.  Your cooperation and effort is greatly appreciated.

My main is A1 and will always be my main. However, I have got my shaman to a point where I think she could be used for limited duty as an Alternate healer. I will always show up with A1, If a healer is needed I would be pleased to bring Ancientazair, my shaman.
