Changes made to rules. In color below.A PIF challenge: what team can clear an instance the fastest?! Rewards to the winners! The PIF enchanting coffers are getting bare. This is a competition to help fill them up. The race is to see which group can do a full instance run the fastest. All boss drops that the group would normally just vendor get disenchanted and the PIF guild bank gets all the Large Prismatic Shards. Join this friendly competition and help out your guild mates as well.  The Rewards:First prize is 20 slot bag and 300g. Second prize is 100g.The Rules:- The race takes place on 3 days Friday 18 January through Sunday 20 January.
- Two instances qualify: Botanica and Shadow Labs.
- Full instance run means killing all the bosses.
- You have to have an enchanter in your group, DE what you don't want and give it to the PIF bank.
- Lowest total time for all instances wins.
- Post the team in advance. Only 1 attempt per team.
- Post your results (toon names and total time) to this forum and guild management will announce the winner on Monday 21 January.
Good luck! Disclaimer: Illegal in some states, realms and servers. Guild management has the last word. Enchanting can be habit forming. Blah, blah blah. Excessive DPS can lead to carpel tunnel injury; guild management not responsible for injury or eye strain (wear your corrective lenses).

I'm in, but let me ask for a clarification. We can pick any one of those three instances to run. We don't run all three. And it's possible that each team will pick a different instance?
Can we run multiples and take our best time?

2 instances must be run, and the total time for both instances will be combined and submitted. Please be honest!

I will be there. Though I am sorry I have to tell you this Shanni, but it is going to be our team that is going to win. We are going to be pulling faster then even The Mushen has ever pulled.
Only problem is now to find some people who want to win with me.

I want to first comment that I think this is a great idea and an innovative way to get the guild bank filled back up. Secondly if it fits in my schedule I would be willing to help out however I can. Finally just a question on the prizes, is that one bag and 300g per team or 1 bag per person and 300g per team etc?

The prizes are for first... 1 - 20 slot bag (This item will be rolled upon by the group to see who gets it) and 300g to split amongst the group. For the second place group.. 100g to split amongst the group.
Also, please keep in mind that you may have multiple characters running different groups. The goal for us is to get as many shards as possible... the goal for you is to have as much fun as possibly while jamming through some instances.

I did and do promise to go with Shanni and company, but also hope to go with Vel and Alex and co that went the other day and rocked the heroic SL and Steamvaults the other night as well. Gene and I were reminising about it last night and we are excited to give that team makeup a go as well. I can't wait to get started. I'll try and get home at a decent time on Friday so we can get some fun times rolling as fast as we can!
