That is a real shame, though i can't compare to WOW it was my first MMORPG and i enjoyed it a lot. I am sad to see it come to such an undistinguished end. I have many fond memories that i will cherish forever. By the way I was a prety good ranger hehehe.

I really liked AC2 - It was fun - But my problem with it was the plotline was... well... what plotline?  The only time you ever really got much 'story' is when you completed a vault or when they put a patch in and you saw the little intro movie.  Also, while the world is large, the cities tended to be empty (people only hung around the portal hubs) and there were vast expanses of basically nothing but flatlands.

Truth be told, the original Asheron's Call is a superior game in my opinion.  MUCH more character customization is available, and the PvP was very exciting and challenging.

Overall, though, I like World of Warcraft much better.  There's *so* much more content and stuff to do in WoW than in AC2, and I really enjoy the way you can customize the interface.  (In fact for me, that's half the fun)

I'd say that I will miss AC2, except that... I won't.  WoW is my home, now.   Grin
