I found where one can buy the recipe for the Major Mana pots. Apparently there is a hidden vendor that only appears after you have completed all of the quests given by the ghost couple standing out front Scholomance. Sadly it's BOP:(

There is also an NPC that appears to you (upstairs) that give you to kill Ras Frostwhisper in a quest series.  That was the only benefit for me to get the trinket that allows you to see the dead since I am a LWer.  Tongue
