Title: Elemental/Resto or Enhancement/Resto for a Shaman
Post by: Aglaeca on June 22, 2009, 01:29:46 PM
Just wondering which one would be a better way to go at the end game.  I've been toying around with a shaman and would appreciate the advice.  Thanks in advance.

There really isn't a weak tree for Shaman.  I think it depends on your preference.  However, from a gear standpoint, it would be much easier to go resto/elemental because the gear is more similar.

Yeah, that is the route I took with Gravitas.  I've not figured out the best spell rotations and talent selection details for dps, but gearing has been fairly easy from a general standpoint.  I've gotten a few pieces that are better for one spec than the other and I expect I'll eventually build two completely different sets.

I went elemental also with my dual spec on my shaman. I love it. This is a good site for information including shot rotation for the spec.
