Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Anybody played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?  (Assuming anyone is even still checking these forums, heh)

I've literally read nothing but good things about the game, so far not a single negative statement, and even the things that people seem to have considered mildly annoying were apparently fixed in a recent patch.  It's entirely single player, but I'm curious.  Plus, I've always been a fan of turn-based RPGs...

Just FYI - Got it, played it, got rapidly disinterested.  The music is great, but the story seems contrived and the gameplay and combat is about as generic as it gets.  Wanted to love it, and honestly I think some players who haven't played really deep tactical turn-based RPG games might like it.
