Span!  Wow, it has been a long time!  It's great to see you.  I actually just saw Mushen today, I'll tell him you said hi.  Shanni pokes her head in here sometimes, and so does A1, although Squeakie doesn't look at the forums these days.  (He hardly did even back in the day!)  Do you think you might want to poke around some Classic WoW with your old PIF buddies?

Speaking of Squeakie, although he doesn't visit the forums, you can often run into him on our Discord server.  Chat doesn't get used much but voice chat does.  It's replaced our now-retired Ventrilo server.  Easy to join up, just hit the "Join Server" button over on the left.

Just as a heads up, my boyfriend and I would like to raid once we are high enough so if the guild isn't big enough or into raiding we may join another guild so that we could get in a regular group =(

That's OK.

Even in the "old days" we formed the "MC2 Alliance" so that we could raid.  Remember that?  We might do the same thing this time around if we're not big enough.  I personally would enjoy beating the snot out of Ragnaros and company again.

I joined when Lich King was released so not sure if the raids were still going on

MC2 was defunct by that point, we only used it for the 40 man raids because we could field that many raid-capable people ourselves.  Once the smaller raids came out we did it ourselves.

I have never done a 40 man so I am excited to see how they work

Well, they way they work is, if the boss loses focus on the main tank for more than two seconds, the raid wipes.  *chuckle*

Well, it's been almost a year since this announcement was made, and I still haven't heard anything regarding a release timeline yet.  It's a bit unlike Blizzard to tease something and wait a year before saying anything, but I think Blizzcon is coming up so maybe they'll announce something then?

Hopefully, but I also saw speculation on a google story that it might be released in 2021

My boyfriend has the virtual ticket to Bliz-Con and he said summer of 2019. So I can't wait to play with all those that play again!
