I really enjoyed SW:tOR a lot right up until I ran out of story arc, and then I stopped having fun. (I always stop having fun once I reach the endgame) If they're going to introduce a new story arc, I'm all over it. The Old Republic is an MMO, but: When the chips are down, BioWare is the the master of single player storyline.

That's always a big thing of mine too. I have to have story that I can take my time and enjoy. Seems that's lost in a lot of pc gaming now.

The most fun I have when gaming is when the game provides a really good, immersive story. Granted I can definitely have fun with a good strategy game (Mechcommander for example) or a good first person shooter, but.... Generally I need a good story to draw me in, otherwise no matter how flashy the graphics are I just don't stay hooked.

Incidentally, I've been playing Marvel Heroes Online for the past few weeks. Something that's EASY to pick up, EASY on the CPU and graphics, and good mindless fun. It has a background story, but you can choose to avoid it or embrace it. It's not perfect, but it's great for the guy or gal that gets home from work, puts the kids to bed, and is too exhausted to learn intricate combat systems. It feels similar to Diablo. Fun, I tell ya!
