For those of you who have winamp, you can now connect to the new Pay It Forward Radio Station! Â Open the following URL into winamp and listen (and hopefully my winamp is playing, lol). Â There is also a way to have multiple hosts, so we can take turns hosting PIF Radio! Â Here is the link:

http://24.226.31.53:8000/listen.pls

If you have song requests you would like to hear on PIF Radio, please list them here. Â Otherwise, you may refer to my list of songs, which I will post on a website eventually. Â

I would listen had I the bandwidth to do so. The PIF station is broadcasting at 64k and I sadly attain half of that most of the time with MSN dialup. (I'm getting PeoplePC soon but that will only be normal "56k." So granted 44-50ish.)

Bah, we cater to all needs! We'll broadcast lower when you wish to listen, just let me know.

Where is that server hosted? I got it working locally, but I just don't have the bandwidth to do it effectively with more than just a couple of users on, unless I crank the bandwidth down so low that it sounds like a piezo speaker made out of tin foil.

If you give me the server PW, I can stream to it as well. :-)

I host locally on my pc. Essentially you connect through my ip.

I'll PM you the server password, and leave the server on, so you can host. I assume you got the shoucast dsp plugin?

*nod* Yep. How much bandwidth does your local PC's Internet connection have, exactly? I've only got 384k up, sadly... It severely inhibits the PIF WoW forums if I use my local server to host the Shoutcast server. :-(

Do you have a static IP? If it's static. I'll redirect radio.wowguild.com to http://24.226.31.53:8000/listen.pls using my DNS server.
