Resto Druid Advice...
« on: October 05, 2009, 05:19:35 AM »
Just looking for some advice here.  I have been working on my old Druid as of late.  I figured since I have my Melee DPS/Tank up to speed on my Paladin, I could bring up my Druid for Caster DPS/Healing.  I love Hybrid classes.   :)

I have never played a druid for healing, so was looking for any advice or websites out there that anyone may know of that are worth while.  Thanks in advance.

I'd be happy to help out, but where do you want to start? Is this your first time healing in general or just Druid Healing? We can chat in-game if you'd like.

I've done a bare minimum of healing on my old paladin (Dorrson is my 2nd paladin).  Nothing raid/heroic wise though.

I used mostly grid, and made my own mouse over macros to make healing with her a bit easier.  I am expecting to renew my mouse over macros on my druid to assist with speedier healing there also.  I've seen a few druid specific addons out there for grid related to HoT timers, etc.  So I am planning on adding those into my mods when I get him to 80.

Beyond that, I have had very little experience on the healing side.  So any advice is welcome.

I am lost. I have gone to look for myself. If I return before I get back, please ask me to wait.

i leveled a resto up to 69 and this is what i found out
easiest healing is with healbot cause it is just point and click
HoTs are your friend use them whenever
swiftmend is a great tool to use
and in a pinch use tranquility for a mass group heal
